Thinking about a Korean microblading touch-up in Busan Seomyeon? With brow tattoos, a second session is common once the first has healed, to fill lighter areas and refine the shape. It is usually done after the skin has settled, often several weeks later. Here is how it works, including how to plan two trips if you live abroad.

Brow tattoos are generally said to last from one to a few years, but it varies a lot. Skin turnover, oiliness, sun exposure, your skincare routine, the technique and the colour all play a part.
Oily skin, or frequent use of peels and retinol, for example, is often linked with faster fading. Many people simply book another session when they notice the colour has softened.
We do not promise a fixed number of years. We will talk you through what to expect after looking at your skin.
If you are travelling from abroad, it helps to think about the touch-up when you book the first session.
A touch-up is usually done several weeks or more after the first session. Let us know at your first enquiry whether another Busan trip is likely.
The touch-up period and fee are confirmed when you book. Please check them before confirming.
Once your skin has settled, send a photo of your brows in daylight and we can tell you in advance whether a touch-up is worth it.
Not all the pigment from one session stays put in the same way. Some can lift during flaking, and the two brows may hold colour slightly differently. That is down to how skin responds and is quite normal.
So the usual approach is to build the shape and base colour in the first session, then use a second one, once the skin has settled, to add colour where it faded and fine-tune the shape.
After a touch-up you may again see temporary redness, darker colour and flaking. Don't pick flakes, keep your hands clean and avoid sauna and pools early on, following your written aftercare sheet. For the typical healing pattern see downtime.
If you are coming from overseas, the first session and the touch-up usually mean two trips to Busan. This makes it easier to plan.
What happens if you come back after the touch-up period is also explained when you book.
A touch-up visit runs the same way as the first.

We need to see the remaining colour and shape first. Send photos of your current brows and the previous work. Red or blue residue needs extra consultation and may limit the design. See brow correction.
Similar to the first session: brows can look darker and flake for a few days, and the extent varies. Follow your written aftercare sheet, and if pain or swelling gets worse or you notice heat or pus, see a doctor promptly.
