What is Jeonpo Cafe Street in Seomyeon, Busan like?

Jeonpo used to be a district of small factories and shops dealing in tools, hardware and parts. As workshops emptied, cafes and independent stores moved into the old buildings and houses, and the area became a favourite walk for young locals and visitors.

In 2017 The New York Times included Jeonpo Cafe Street in its list of 52 Places to Go, as an example of urban regeneration. Shops change often, so this page describes how to enjoy the street rather than naming individual cafes.

Planning your day

Fitting the cafe street around your appointment time

We are open 11:00–20:00 and closed on Sundays. How you use the cafe street depends on when you book.

  • Morning slot: come to the studio first, then wander over for a late lunch or coffee and carry on with your afternoon.
  • Afternoon slot: get off at Jeonpo a little early and sit down somewhere quiet before your consultation, so you arrive unhurried.
  • Evening slot: sightsee in Seomyeon or Nampo during the day, finish in Jeonpo, then head back to your hotel for a calm night.
  • Departure day: the side streets are not suitcase-friendly. Leave your bags at your hotel or a station locker first.

Routes from Gimhae Airport and Busan Station are on our getting to Seomyeon page.

Before you order

Three things to keep in mind at the cafe

Spending time in a cafe is perfectly fine. These are the only points worth watching for your brows.

  1. 01

    Go easy before treatment

Clients are typically advised to avoid alcohol and heavy caffeine before a brow procedure. We confirm what to do on the day when you book.

  2. 02

    Hands off afterwards

Wind, a mask or your fringe brushing your brows can make you want to touch them. Don't rub the area, and blot any sweat gently.

  3. 03

    Save the photos

Fresh brows typically look darker for the first few days. If you want cafe photos, take them before your appointment or tell us your plans when you book.
